High Vis for Special Needs Schools

Fluorescent, reflective waistcoats or sashes are really useful if you take a group of special needs children out. Not only will they be safer near traffic but will also be easier to monitor - you’re more likely to spot them if they try to run off.

Stick-on reflectors are good for wheelchairs. Even small fluorescent stick-on reflectors are effective at making the wheelchair user more visible to traffic. Young wheelchair users will love our animal shapes and for the older ones our fluorescent, reflective smiles or strips should be popular.

Introducing high visibility clothing or accessories could be part of a School Travel Plan for a Special Needs School as it is a way of increasing the pupils’ safety and hopefully will lead to more trips out and about.
