'UK Suppliers Preferred' Policy
We prefer to have our products made in the UK where possible for social, environmental and quality reasons.
Being close to and involved with the production processes means we have greater and more flexible control over the design, production and packaging of our UK made products. We can address quality issues quickly and can produce non-standard versions if required. It also enables us to be more innovative and creative as we do not have to produce large runs. Our closeness means we can also see the conditions on the factory floor and know that workers are being treated well. Local manufacture also helps reduce environmental effects of transportation.
Our BrightKidz range of products are mostly UK made with exceptions being clearly marked. Our printing services are all in-house or local. It is important to us to offer UK made versions of as many of our products as possible.
We would love to have all our products made in the UK but we also want to be able to provide a low cost range of high visibility products which are affordable for everyone. Our Bright Basics range of imported, functional style high vis means we are able to offer this option so if you are on a tight budget you can still be bright.
